Placing An Order
Please add your items to the shopping basket by clicking on the basket icon next to the item. You can also add any item to your favourites page. You can review the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the view shopping basket link at the top of the page. When you are ready to complete your order, please proceed to the checkout. You will receive a confirmation email to say that your order has been successful.
Instant Downloads
Downloadable files become accessible instantly after payment (some exceptions may apply). You will have permanent access to your file and can download it as many times as you need and onto any of your own devices (conditions apply).
Once your order has been paid for, your downloads can be accessed in multiple ways. You can download them directly from the order completion page that you will be redirected to after check out, from the download links in your order confirmation and order completion emails and thirdly, from the "downloads tab" of your My Account section (Bead Spider free user Account required).
Files are sent as PDF except in some cases where several patterns are bundled together into a ZIP file. Files generally download directly to the default save location for your device. For phones and tablets this tends to be the "files" app. For a computer or laptop, files are generally saved to the Downloads Folder of your computer.
Please note that we cannot offer refunds for any patterns that our systems show have been downloaded. Files that have been purchased but do not show as having been downloaded on our systems can still be refunded.
Our Digital files and patterns remain under Bead Spider copyright and cannot be sold, reproduced, redistributed or taught without our express permission. Anyone thought to be abusing or otherwise breaching these terms can have their access to files removed and can be liable to further legal action without prior notice.
Instructions Included with Kits
Almost all of our beading kits include a set of printed or digital instructions so you won't have to purchase them in addition to the purchase of your kit. Those that don't have written instructions will have a related video tutorial that can be viewed directly from the Bead Spider website instead.
For environmental reasons, when purchasing multiples of the same kit, we will only send one copy of the instructions per design. If you want or need multiple sets, we are more than happy to print them for you at no additional charge. All you need do is request them in the "comments" box at checkout. Please note that complimentary additional instructions are only available when requested at the time of purchase. Requests for additional copies after the order has been processed will be subject to a separate postage fee, unless combined with a new order.
Delivery
We aim to send all orders out within 1 - 3 working days, this can vary due to our attendance at bead fairs around the UK. If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative. You will not be charged for items that are not in stock. Any shortages or faulty items received must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt.
By UK law you can cancel any order within 7 working days of delivery. Please email us at [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your goods. Consumers are liable for the cost of return postage, please ensure you obtain proof of posting.
Within UK
All items ordered are can be sent by 2nd class, 1st class, 24h tracked or 48h tracked services. The cost is calculated by the weight and size of your order including packaging and insurance up to the current post office rate. We waiver this cost for UK customers with a Bead Spider account whose orders are over £20.
24h & 48h Tracked services: These services include full tracking with automated notifications via email and text message (mobile phone number required). Orders using either of these services are filled at a slightly higher priority so tend to be sent quicker but this is not guaranteed. Please note that the 24 hour and 48 hour services refers to the delivery aim from sending and not from the time that an order is placed.
Standard International Airmail
Europe and Republic of Ireland: Cost is calculated based on the weight and size of the items ordered. This service does NOT include a tracking code. Expected Delivery is within 3 - 7 working days after sending.
North America, Australia, New Zealand & Other Selected Countries: Cost is calculated based on the weight and size of the items ordered. This service does NOT include a tracking code. Expected Delivery is 7 - 21 days after sending.
Rest of the World: To offer the most competitive price possible, at the time of shopping you are not charged for airmail. Airmail is calculated AFTER the parcel is packed, measured and weighed to find the most competitive price for your specific parcel. At this point you will be sent a digital invoice via email in the currency you placed your order (USD($), GBP(£) or Euro(€) for the calculated cost. Your parcel will be sent with the next collection once payment has been received. Expected Delivery is 7 - 21 days after sending. This service does NOT include a tracking code.
Tracked International Airmail

Payment
We accept the following forms of payment:
Credit/Debit Cards - We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron and Maestro ) Card Payments are processed through our secure gateway 'Stripe'.
Paypal - We accept Paypal payments, you will be redirected off site to PayPal to login and complete your purchase.
Flexible Payment Options - We accept flexible payment options for Klarna and Afterpay. You will be directed to the login page of your selected service where you will complete your purchase.
Payment can be made in any of our three accepted currencies. British Pounds (£), US Dollars (US$) or Euro (€). Please ensure you select your desired currency before proceeding to payment.
Returns
We are confident that you will be satisfied with your order, however if anything does not meet with your full approval, you are more than welcome to return it within 14 days for replacement or refund. We do not offer free return postage and as such the cost of return postage is to be covered by the customer except for cases of our own discretion. Please note if beads are purchased on a string they must be returned as so, and all returned products must be unused. Please note: We cannot accept returns of earwires due to hygiene reasons.
If you do decide to return anything please contact us first, the goods should be returned in their original packaging and unused. Goods should be securely packaged and proof of posting is advisable when returning as we cannot be responsible for returned damaged goods or lost goods.

Bead Spider Free User Accounts
Creating a free Bead Spider User account is not a necessity to shopping on our website, however it does provide you with some extra customer benefits. Any personal data stored as part of your account is purely for making your shopping experience more convenient and will not be shared or sold to any third parties.
Firstly, any and all downloadable files/products will be stored for you to access directly from the "downloads" tab of your user account. Secondly, we also store a record of all orders placed while logged into your account, to make checking your records or reordering any products even easier. Additionally, you can also choose to store your payment details (secured and encrypted for protection) to make the shopping process quicker and easier for you in future.
We also occasionally run sales and offers exclusively for customers with a free user account. As a final benefit, for UK customers only, we offer free postage (using either 1st Class mail or 48h tracked services at our discretion) for orders to addresses within the UK for orders over £20 after discounts have been applied.

I assume you ship to the USA. Any ideas for shipping cost? Thanks
We certainly do! The cost of airmail varies depending on the total weight of your parcel and whether you want tracking or not. As an average estimate, it is usually something around $10-12. There are no shipping costs though if you are only buying digital products like downloadable patterns.
what is the exchange rate if you are buying from the United States
Hi there! Since our products are in British Pounds, when you shop with us the conversion is done automatically at the exchange rate of the day. Due to this you may see small fluctuations between prices from day to day as the exchange rate changes.
