I made two eggs in this design. I made the amethyst (which I did first) and another in specific colours (main colour orange as its my sister’s favourite colour) I asked Matthew to provide – thanks Matthew! I did struggle with this pattern and put this down to the fact I had not made anything so detailed before or done netting before. Even though the amethyst turned out rather different to the design I still think it looks OK. The orange one turned out much better after Matthews help! Again thanks Matthew! I would suggest trying the other egg design (faberge easter egg) first if you are new to it like me as I found it easier. But I love both designs and enjoyed making them as presents.
